Energy and Environment Industry Awards 2008

Renew Tees Valley is delighted to invite nominations for the 2008 Energy and Environment Industry Awards. Winners will be announced at the Environment Industry Dinner to be held on Thursday 31 January 2008 at the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough.

Award Categories

1. Renewable Energy - In recognition of a major and significant Tees Valley based renewable energy initiative of strategic importance.

2. Recycling – In recognition of a major and significant Tees Valley based recycling initiative of strategic importance.

3. Personal Contribution to the Environmental Sector -   In recognition of a personal effort and vision in terms of influencing the Tees Valley Renewable Energy and/or Recycling agenda.

4. Product of the Year – In recognition of a successfully developed and marketed environmental product by a Tees Valley based company.

5. Innovation  – In recognition of a product, development or  initiative which is innovative and will have an impact on the local environment or economy in the Tees Valley.

6. Environmental Awareness – In recognition of the contribution, efforts and vision of an organisation in improving the local environment whilst positively impacting on the Tees Valley economy.

7. Education/Awareness Raising– In recognition of a School, College, University, Community Group, Third Sector or other body's initiatives where clearly demonstrable benefit can be shown to be positively impacting on the growth of the renewable energy/recycling/waste management sector now or into the future.
